How we work for you
Step 1. If you’re new to PPC, we begin by carrying out an assessment of your business and industry – we look at your website, your products or services and your competitors. This gives us an idea of how much traffic will be available to you, how your account is likely to perform in terms of Cost Per Sale or Conversion and what the best structure would be for your account. And then, assuming you’re happy with our assessment, we’ll discuss and agree a strategy with you and then get down to business.
If you already have an AdWords account, we start by reviewing your account and giving full feedback. We’ll analyse all aspects of your account, as well as taking a look at your competitors and the wider marketplace. This stage is usually an eye-opener for new clients, as they can immediately see where major savings and improvements to campaign performance can be made.
Step 2. Once we’ve investigated your advertising from every angle, we can start putting things right. We start with account building or re-structuring, following the guidelines we’ve agreed with you. This means building a network of dozens to hundreds of ad groups and often thousands of keywords, each with their own ad copy and using every phrase ‘match type’. This is how we make sure your ads stand out from the competition and achieve the optimum Quality Score, and that you get the best value for money with every click.
Step 3. Once these foundations are complete, we can start optimising the account. This usually means continuing to build the account in areas that prove fruitful, and areas that you wish to promote. All the while, we’re watching your account’s performance each and every day, constantly filtering your results to find weaker areas and working on them accordingly. We encourage our clients to use Google Analytics, and we study how potential customers behave on your website and how that can be improved upon. It’s time-consuming, but it brings results and there’s no room for shortcuts when it comes to your marketing.
